Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Newstead Media AB (“we”) handles personal data received through newsteadmedia.com. It covers this website only. Each of our publications has its own privacy policy.

Who is responsible

Newstead Media AB is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect and why

Enquiries

When you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive the details you send: usually your name, company, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you and to discuss a possible partnership. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Enquiries are kept in our email for as long as the conversation or the business relationship needs them, and deleted when they no longer do.

Visit statistics

We count visits with our own first-party statistics tool. It sets no cookies and never stores your IP address. Visits are counted with an identifier that is salted and changes every day, so it cannot follow you from one day to the next. We record pages viewed, how the visit started (for example search or a link), device type and country.

Server logs and security

Like most websites, our servers log requests, including IP address, time, requested page and browser type, to keep the site secure and working. These logs are deleted after about 14 days. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data to protect the site from attacks and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie you may receive is the security cookie described above.

Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to run the site and our email, such as our hosting, Cloudflare and our email delivery provider, and only for those purposes. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, in which case the transfer is covered by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.

Changes

We will update this page if the way we handle personal data changes. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
